Dr. Canh, Institute of Otolaryngology, Hanoi, is being taught by Larry
Hammer, M.C.D. how to use an electrolarynx with a patient. The gentleman
had an excellent result and was disappointed when we didn't have a sufficient
number of devises for him to keep one. His family observing the procedure
were simply amazed that they could again verbally communicate with them.
Dr Ku, Dr. Chan, and Dr. Canh at the Institute of Otoloaryngology, Hanoi
were pleased with the result they saw the patients in the clinic experience
using the electrolarynx. This was the first exposure they had had with
rehabilitative alternatives for the Laryngectomee.
